Stimuli # 4 Moffat, T 1994, Scarred For Life
Moffat's photographs are very vivid and powerful and each photo seems to tell audiences the story or the history. Moffat focuses on the person and object in each photograph and maintains a balance between the two elements. The space of the photographs is harmonious because she always put the person in the center of the photo with the object in the background. Therefore there won’t make people feel like grasping the point or being dazzled. Moffat's photographs do not emphasize both foreground and background and I noticed that if she wanted to highlight the foreground she would blur the background appropriately.
Besides, the layout of photo will not make people feel overwhelmed. Moffat's photos are mainly described her childhood history, so her series of photos are filtered in yellow tones, and that people can have a sense of the past, memories. These stimuli mainly record her surrounding people and objects by using photography, therefore it helps me pay more attention to the environment and objects around me and notice more things that I haven't noticed before.

Stimuli # 5 Christo and Jean Claude 1997-1998. Wrapped trees
The original purpose of this work was to protect plants from the cold in winter, and the artists thought and considered the ideas from the perspective of trees. They wrapped the trees in environmentally friendly, biodegradable plastic bags. This kind of plastic bag is not all black, people can still see the various postures of the tree through the plastic bag. They use extremely simple materials to create their work. Designers make sketches, and they elaborate the shapes of plastic bags so that visitors in the park can admire the trees. Especially in sunny days, the sunlight through plastic bags can let people enjoy the different trees from usual, giving people an aesthetic feeling.
These stimuli teach me how to empathy, make me think from the perspective of the object, and exercise my thinking.
